Would U tellme Pads file(.pcb)into allegro file(.brd).. plz

That drivin me crazy..
Why does 'cadence pcb SI' drop the message " unable to open the input file!"???
I just did .pcb to .ask file at pads 2005 into .3 ver. really did.
And SI importing menu says put 'pads ask2 input file', I didit too.
But that make the way I wrote...

what do U think this prob come from?

please take ascii from pads file.

imoport that acsii into allegro by file >import>cads translator>pads

with which tool? ORcad capture? cadence SI?
there's no menu just like that 'cad translater' in my SI tool..

you must be talked about SI, I have cadense 16.3 ver.
Does this come frome ver. problem?

Hi,
In Cadence SI,
File>Import>CAD Translators>Pads
Insert your ASCII data created by PADs, Option files and output Design by choosing directory. Cadence16.3 has same options.
