5v to 12v converter, anyone help me???

Hi all,

I want to design a circuit for supplying 12v to lm741. I have considered to use flyback to fulfil it but I do not sure whether able to
supply the voltage to lm741 simultaneously.(because it relies on the switch on/off to supply the +/- voltage)
Thus, I design the following circuit, it is two boost converter for supplying +/-12v and the duty cycle is controlled by the MCU by
using the timer interrupt. Also, I do not sure to determine the component value, can anyone suggest some acceptable value for the converter?
Is it work??

I do not want to use coil as I am designing a portable product. Also I want to know if my design is work?? what the value of the component I use??
 

You are using coils anyway, so no big deal for.
In a standard design in order to obtain a stable voltage output we need to provide DC voltage reference and some sort of feedback circuit.

A more simple solution to use off the shelf DC-DC converter circuits, for example:

if I use the boost converter to obtain +12v and assume the duty cycle is 0.6, how to determine the component value?

+1 and look at converters from Murata ( ex Newport etc...) and similar offerings - NDL series etc. Unless, of course, you wish to design more at 'component level' for the experience.
