Hello everybotdy at edaboard.com,

I am trying to make and simulate a new device, which is not available in the library. The device is Vishay's CNY74-4H, Quad optocoupler with photo-transistor output.

My idea was to build the IC using four instances of the generic optocoupler from the library and make an array to simulate the CNY74-4H.

Making the device (ie, packaging, pin out, etc.) is straightforward with the Make Device Wizard. My problem is that I can´t make a simulation model for it. I don´t see how to link the new device with the optocoupler array for simulation.

Maybe someone at the forum has tried (and achieved) something like this and can give me some tips/ ideas.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Best regards.

Alejandro.
