[Info Found]Weeder Frequency Counter revisited

Hi All

I recently built a frequency counter kit from a company, that I won't name, and it didn't work. Tried to get help from the supplier, poor customer service. So I figured I tried to build my own from scratch. I came across the Weeder counter I found here

http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist/weedfreq.htm

I have the circuit working up to pin 1 of U2. I get a siganl at pin 1 but nothing on pin 3 because pin 2 is being held low. I assumed it was low because the PIC was holding it low. First off, I know nothing about PIC programming. Actually I picked up a programmer from a friend and have just begin learning. But in the meantime I started looking for help to fix the problem. I came across this post from this forum but it is aged.

Down the post Sphinx had convert the tris and option commands. Does anyone have the updated asm?

Thanks in advance
