can anyone help me with the power supply noise effcet on phase noise of a ring oscillator in hspicerf?
I have read the mannual of hspicerf, it says i can model the noise source with an E element ot G element.
here comes the question, how can i model it? should i model it into a white noise or white gaussian noise?
How can i assign the PSD value for it? For example, a ring oscillator implemented with 0.35um technology
at 3.3V vdd. i add a noise voltage source with PSD 0.00001 in series with vdd, the scripts associated with
it is:

vdd0 vdd0 gnd 3.3
E1 vdd vdd0 noise='0.0001'

But the resulted phase noise curve is wierd, it is like a gain curve of an amplifier!
Is there anything wrong with it? how can i model a power supply noise, can anyone
help me?

Thank you!!!
