Hey all,
Can you all suggest me as what all could be the reasons if my output waveform is not symmetrical around X axis. I can think of the presence of distortion. But I am not sure.

thanks for trying to help me
here u go with the graph and its an output of a receiver with unequal amplitude levels at the output.
though its a small difference, i would like to know as why its happening this way

thanks

Thanks but did you mean to mention that the circuit is not giving out the information signal and just the oscillation response. The output has the same frequency as the information frequency that I send at the input though

Thanks

I mean, that the question can't be exactly answered without knowing the circuit and excitation waveform.

As far as I understand, there's a steady-state sine wave superimposed with a pulse transient. Assumed this is a linear circuit without a DC offset signal, then the trivial explanation is that you are too hasty and didn't wait for the initial transient to decline.

P.S.: If the transient is just created by hard switching a sine source, you should be able to reduce it by adjusting the initial phase.

Ok..I will try to add those details shortly. Thanks a lot
