I'm assuming this trigger is to set off an air bag or something, I just have this image of crashing my car and a little light lighting up on the dash board telling me that I have crashed ... What kind of sensor are you thinking of using?
im connecting a a linkmatik 2.0 to the microcontroller (16f877a) which will trigger my android application (in car phone) to send gps coordinates via sms,, my question is how can i trigger the microcontroller to do this?? and i also need to know how can i program my pic

i dont want to use a real crash sensor,, i just want to trigger the pic,, the crash sensor will be designed later on
