Hi,

I'm new to the TL494 and i'm using it for a buck converter. So, basically i'm using it for the IGBT. I've tried carrying out the circuit given in the datasheets (for tl494) at http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/texasinstruments/tl494.pdf

can anyone share how the test inputs (pin 3 and 4) work?

and is there a difference in the range of duty cycle if the resistors are connected to E1 and E2 instead of C1 and C2? what does this mean?

Thanks :)
