vlsi nmos

Hi,

Anyone can help me to answer bellow question.....?

Explain the operation of the NMOS transistor as function of Vgs and Id?
Main differences between NMOS and PMOS transistor?

Thank You.....

nmos in vlsi

Vgs<Vt cut off
Vgs>Vt turn on Vds>Vgs-Vt Saturation I=0.5uCox(Vgs-Vt)(Vgs-Vt)

NMOS=> "1" to turn it on and "0" to turn it off
PMOS=> "0" to turn it on and "1" to turn it off
