It is a programmer designed for Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor microcontrollers. Schema is based on the directory notes and examples found on the Internet.
The main element of the system is a popular MAX232 as a converter giving the voltage of +9V and converter and buffer for RS232 port. A number of jumpers on the right edge of the board allows to set four pins on the high or low state depending on what combination is needed to run the microcontroller in the appropriate mode. The programmer was equipped with the function of autoreset, which significantly simplifies the uploading the firmware to the uP. Also a diode was used to protect against incorrect polarity of the supply. The board was made in such a way that you can choose between the generator and the quartz resonator. Generator does not require any other subcomponents, and for the proper work of the system with the resonator, the inverter is needed, in this case it is 74HC04D, two capacitors and two resistors. There is also a small diode that indicates plugged in power.
