I have designed the Circular patch antenna from [2-18]Ghz band in HFSS but i dont know about its polarization. can somebody please guide me that how can i check polarization of my antenna that whather it is linearly polarized or circular polarized. if someone can refer me the any URL or tell me the steps i shall be thankful to him/her.

Search in HFSS for the term axial ratio. This is one of the parameters HFSS provides after far field simulation when fields are saved.

your antenna polarization is linear and for checking it you can check by axial ratio and polarization in hfss
