    L.p.g gas detector circuit

I am using MQ6 lpg gas sensor ......can anybody give us an idea how to design gas detection circuit for atmega16

    Re: L.p.g gas detector circuit

SparkFun has two good links... the datasheet for the part, and a simple wiring/code example.
LPG Gas Sensor - MQ-6 - SparkFun Electronics

It appears that the output of the device is simply an analog voltage that can be read by the A/D on your microcontroller (internal or external, not familiar w/ the ATmega16 device). You can use a load resistor from 10k to 47k, depending on the required sensitivity of the device. Refer to page 2 of the datasheet for the device's performance curves versus gas concentration and gas type.

    In a datasheethttp://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/S...etric/MQ-6.pdf
there is one spcification PRE-HEAT TIME=48hr
how does it matter while designing detector
can anybody plz tell....how can we get constant output across RL

I'm guessing that you'll have to have the coil element energized for the pre-heat time, so that the system will stabilize and be within the tolerances given in the spec sheet. The PDF from SparkFun shows Preheat time as "Over 24 hours". You might e-mail/call the manufacturer and ask what the impact to the readings would be if you reduced that preheat time below the specified time. You might also ask their technical staff about your constant output question, if no one on here can provide an answer.
