Tlaunch+Tclktoq+Tcom<Tlaunchclk+Tcycle-tsetup
in this equation Tlaunchclk and Tcycle is different.how it will be different.?
can any one explain me:)

Hi Venkat,
Can you elobrate this question little more?
As in digital logic timing formulas, Skew time, Cylce time, Setup time, hold time play major role. I'm not sure about Tlaunch and Tlaunchclk. maight be similar terms with different name.

Hi venkat,
equation is
Tlaunchclk+Tclktoq+Tcom<=Tcapclk+Tperiod-tsetup

Tlaunchclk and Tcaptureclk are the timing form clk definition point to clk pin of flipf's respectively. Tperiod is time from launch edge to near capture edge. Tperiod may or may not be the period of the capture clk. if both ff's are clked by same clk then Tperiod is the period of the capture clk. If both are clked by diff clks then Tperiod may or may not be the period of the capture clk.
