3M produces a variety of electrically conductive tapes (single- and double-sided). I know those tapes are typically used for EMI shielding and grounding. But, can they also be used to connect the battery terminals of a coin battery to a PCB? We would like to use a piece double-sided conductive tape on the bottom of a coin battery and attach that to the GND pad on our board. Then, we would use a piece of single-sided conductive tape to attach to the positive terminal on the board. Would this work ok? (I believe the tapes have resistive properties). Thanks.
 

On flexibile conductive tape, conductive wires are special copper alloy to keep resistance low and get more flexibility.

How do zou plan to fix this to battery? with glue?

Every wire is resistive, best conductor is gold, but :roll:. If you need battery connection to supply some consumer with power, latest you need some resistive wire at terminals.




Better use battery holders.


You see LED on flexibile wires.
