The heart was designed in Corel, then exported to dxf. Gcode was generated in Edgecam. At the end, the heart was engraved and cut on cnc milling machine of 5mm plexiglass. The shape of the heart has the dimensions of 25x30cm.
The whole is based on Atmega8 processor, that controls rgb diodes. The program was written in Bascom. Diodes are standard 5mm, on which there are notches milled.
The device has two modes. First, the default, consists of smooth transitions between colors. Full color loop takes place briefly every few minutes. In the second mode, the choice is 9 static colors. The whole can be changed by one button.
