Hi all. I'm currently using L-Edit for course project. I try to design fully-differential folded-cascode operational amplifier with technology file of 0.18um.
However, I got difficulty in connecting the Metal1 and Metal2 with a via. I've been trying to connect them simply by via (color white) but when I checked the connection, both of them (metal1 and metal2) do not connect each other.
Is my procedure right? Or is there any component I miss to connect metal1 and metal2 besides a single via?

Here is the connection I tried to make :

The poly-metal1 connects each other, however the metal1-metal2 doesn't.
What should I do? :-?:-?
I appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.:smile:

Hello,darwinxie
i think when you want a connection between metal1 and metal2 you should use via1.
Try it and it will work (ISA).
