my project is on mutual coupling reduction in MIMO systems...so i am working on that ...so need to design a sample array with coaxial feed....can you help me out...not specific in resonant freq..any freq...which range of freq will be good for dis..
How Would i know what frequencies are best for your operation Mr.Vishnu.if you are able to give me a certain specifications we will be able work it out.let me know if you would like any further help
i am a undergraduate student sir....this is my final year...my project guide is doing PhD...he is helpingme out...so he asked me to learn the hfss software first .....these are the assignments for me...at the initial stage ...i was asked to design a rectangular patch and then circular and then two patches as array..

sorry to mention details clearly....i am doing my final year project ...i belong to ECE branch..my project guide is doing his PhD on Antennas...he is helping me out....my project title is Mutual coupling reduction in mimo system employing microstrip antennas...this is my title...the approach we are going to use is EBG structures sir....
So what are we looking at right now. I am sure you might have already had a chance to look at the circular patch i have attached? i can attach a simple rectangular patch as well,if you want?. so you want a patch array of two elements and to see the mutual coupling between each other.Right?
Attached is a copy of recntagular patch antenna coaxially fed.find it appended. its just a random design i have used as an example. unfortunately the files that i am uploading are compatible with HFSS13 and .hfss files are not backward compatible.
How do you plot the s11 values,go to results-->Modal solution data report ---> Rectangular plot---> select parameters and depending on your sources plot the s11 values.
Well to start off i dont have patch arrays.i will have to work on them, i dont understand how are you going to calculate the mutual coupling between two antennas if there is one source for them, Does that make any sense?
i too dnt know how we are going to calculate ...but as i have said my project guide is helping me ....so i am just following his instructions and just doing the assignments given by him....

can we give single feed co axial feed for a array of patches..is dat possible....if possible how can v design that
ask your mentor exactly what kind of antenna structure does he want you to design. because its not worth wasting time around something that's not quite understood between you and your mentor.i would be more than happy to help you out on this.
k sir ...i will definitely get back to you on dat....presently i need to design a two rectangular patches on a single substrate using coaxial feed and need to observe the results...this is my assignment at present

hi can i have a link to download the hfss 13...the files you have sent are not opening sir...
Alrite that shouldn't be a big problem all you gotta do is replicate the rectangular patch that we have and then do the calculations accordingly or if you want i can do that and upload the project file.
hi i am doing my project in mimo 13.i ll try to reduce the isloation.but i dont know v have to maintain isloation in which level? can u possible to send details about isloation ?
