HI there.
I have to make a nodal communication based sensor network applying zigbee

can any one tell me how many zigbee modules are there for the project mentioned above?
I have come across some of them but want a list of some more .

Kindly also tell me which one is the best of them for me?
Thanks in advance. I am waiting for reply :)

I have only used Atmel products, Raven and ZigBit. Zigbit are better because they are just modules and not boards. But Raven has the ZigBee USB stick which is really amazing!

Hope that helped.

For your reference, Jennic ZigBee module is good, too.
We use their chip to make modules and usb dongle.

thanks alot meshreen....i will check them out

The ZigBee Alliance is a good resource:

I've used Digi, Microchip, Atmel and Telegesis devices for various commercial projects.

Out of the aforementioned group, only Microchip hasn't been mention.

Microchip IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee RF Transceivers Devices

Microchip devices also support a lighter weight protocol, MiWi, which can be quite useful for some applications.
