I'm searching for the design VCO containing 7 stages differential ring oscillator.....can someone help me in this???i don't know how to design it...

look up razavi cmos book. it has the basics. any thing specific on 7 stages?

where i can get that book???or do you have any soft copy for that book????or link maybe...

maybe anyone can help me in finding the best circuit for voltage controlled oscillator....using ring oscillator...(dont have any resistor or capasitor in it)..that is easy to integrate....and easy to do their layout...i really dont have idea about this cicuit....plz....anyone....:???: i really need it asap.....

hello....did anyone know how to calculate sizing for length and width for transistor sizing...especially to calculate for vco

VCO is a non-linear circuit that depends also on parasitics. You may want to tune it numerically with an optimization tool like Matlab, Cadence ADE-GXL or MunEDA WiCkeD.
