Hi ALL

I am using PIC18f4620- I want to use the timer 1 to read rising edge of an external circuit output!

Im confused about one single thing- The RC0 and RC1 pin of the PortC Register. The PIC spec says that RC0 is the "timer 1 oscillator output" and RC1 is the "oscillator input".

Its quite contrary to what Ive read on the internet so far where everyone made RC0 their input to Timer 1.

Could someone please clarify the difference between RC0 and RC1 ?

Also If i connect an external circuit to the C pin, would the internal oscillator of the Timer1 be still be active ( 32.768 kHz) ?

THANKS
