Do you mean how to rotate the image? This means using a formula consisting of sines and cosines. Each pixel must have its x and y value run through the formula, to obtain its new xy position in the new image.
Or do you mean how to locate the center whorl? And draw one line through it? So as to indicate the original angle of orientation? This might be harder to do than the rotation itself.
