its for testing hi voltage diodes,asm rectifiers and a functional capacitor test-(found in microwaves).......when testing a diode if its ok one led will be lit(depending which way round your diodes connected )if both leds light the diodes sc,no leds the diodes oc.......ive been using it for years whilst repairing mw ovens with no problems-
