In the process of reducing antenna violations, first we try to jog the nets, after that we insert diodes in reverse bias direction between net and substrate, but how a reverse bias diode will help to ground the charge..i mean in reverse bias direction diode will be in off state, so how it will operate like that?

Do u remember how zener diode works in reverse bias and the use of it.
Its basic electronics.

Pls go through it u will understand.

Regards

ya, ok..i know zener diode..so in redusing antenna violations, are we using zener diodes?

When there are static charges accumulated on the net this zener diode will bypass these static charges to the gnd.
These static charges come into picture while doing the etching process using CMP.

so, finally what you are saying is, we are using zener diodes in preventing antenna violations?

understand anntena effect and diode better. You don't really understand what they are how they work.
Charges accumulate, voltage goes up, diode in reverse bias turns on.. It's simple.
