This micro-electro-drill made a hole in the cutter sw 18 (fi 4mm) within half an hour, and in other metals much faster, such as steel lamina of a thickness of 0,5mm – a hole 4mm was made in 2 minutes.

How was it made
  • vibrator is made of the relay UR-40 (24V-)
  • power supply is from the transformer from the cinematic projector, it gives tension on the vibrator and the operating voltage
  • flow of excavated material from tub to the tank was made, which was adopted of a car windscreen washer ROBUR, filled with the cosmetic kerosene
  • the tub is lifted manually (on the rack), the vibrator can be moved (on column), as shown in the pictures
  • operating current is 10A maximum (depending on the size of the contact surface of the electrode), the capacitor charging power has a capacity of 250 microfarads. The whole under safe voltage 24V DC
  • for easier work, halogen lighting 12V was mounted
