Hello,
I have a question about the ADC in general, many of them have a very low input span voltage. Is it for reduce the preamp/buffer stages in front of them ? the input stage need to be low noise and assume that the power supply, (crosstalk effect on pcb tracks etc...) should be very clean... so is it really an advantage ?

I see low input voltage range particularly for high speed ADC with differential input. I think it's an advantage, you can always use resistive dividers if you don't like it.
