Hello..

I need code for L297/L298 stepper motor driver. I am doing project on thermal printer interface with MSP430. As initial stage, trying to run stepper motor of the printer using the driver circuit. As i am using MSP430 microcontroller, i think i'm in need of code. I will rig up the circuit and query later brother.. Thanks a lot.. Pls do help..

You need too provide more details. Like what microcontroller are you using, what programming language, what is the application setup and what parameters are expected from it.
 

I am using MSP430 microcontroller.. Programming language is C.. Right now i need to run a stepper motor of the printer. So i need C code for running a stepper motor on a microcontroller with L298/L297 driver circuit
 



Holding reset will brake the motor in 0' position.
HALF/FULL determines power.
CLOCK frequency selecting step.
CW/CCW determines direction.
What code do you need exactly?
 

Better use mosfets its flexible solution and may give more power for motors.
