Did Altera already ship out the NIOSII update CD?

NIOSII CD shipping...

Did Altera already ship out the NIOSII update CD?
Anyone already received them?

I have got the nios II CDs. I don't know if this is because we broght nios I and got an autoupgrade or if we made some special deal with the distributor here. Anyway you need a license file that supports nios II (which I already have.) SOPC builder generates encrypted stuff that requires the full license to synth. Warning their debugger is not so good I am using the codelab debugger.

You can download the NIOS II from altera's web site if you havn't got your cd yet.

Was shipped originally to wrong adddress...

on altera's website,there is ONLY NIOS 3.0 Service Pack 1,NO NIOS II update for download

What are you trying to say here?

I said that I received a package via parcel service containg NIOS II on CD...which is more or less the same as the NIOS II evaluation version for downloading at Altera's website..

2. The original question was if the upgrade package was already shipped..so I don't expect some other questions here...

3. Now I'm able to tell you what's included in the upgrade package since I received it (o;

  • NiosII Version 1.0 CD for Windows
    Quartus II 4.0 Design software for PC
    Service pack 1 for the Quartus II design software
    Nucleus codelab Evaluation kit for NiosII
    FirstSilicon Debug evaluation CD
