Hello,
I'm trying to repair an AMREL PPS-2322 programmable power supply. I called AmRel and asked for the service manual and they told me that they don't have it anymore as the product is obsolete.
I also contacted Motech (**broken link removed**) in Taiwan that was the original manufacturer of the Power supply but they don't have the manual anymore.
I also contacted BK since BK1775 looks just like the Amrel unit, They sent me the service manual for the BK1770 but is very different from the BK1775.
If anybody has the service manual or schematics or has experience repairing this particular unit and can provide me with some hints I would really appreciate.
Thank you
Casi

Didnt found any service manual, What is the exact problem you are facing.

Yes, those are the only manuals I found too.
I found also sites that claim to repair the power supply but I left messages and they never replied.
I guess that It will have to become one of those projects of reverse engineering :)
The Voltage regulator section works fine. All the voltages are correct. It has a beautiful toroidal transformer.
The Keypad works fine and so does the screen. I think that the IEEE488 interface works too.
I guess I'll have to start debugging the big PCB with the DAC and power sections and the ADC for the feedback system.
Thank you

In which aspect you are feeling it was giving wrong out put, may be current.

I've been gone for a while.
The solution was very simple. I didn't realize that the outputs in the back of the unit need to have a short between the s- and - and s+ and +.
The power supply works fine. It is just a little bit out of calibration.
Thank you for trying to help. Sometimes the solutions to a problem are too obvious :-D

Hi, were you ever able to obtain the repair manual? Do you still have the 2322? I am asking because I recently got a pps-2322. The transistors Q47 and Q38 were burnt:-( Do you think you can tell me what those transistors are (e.g. 2N4126 etc.)? Thank you in advance.
Steve
