I am trying to send the data obtained from Laser displacement sensor to PC using Zigbee. I am using Zigbee OEM RF Module 802.15.4 but I am unable to transmit the data from sensor to PC. I am using software X-CTU to use Zigbee. The teminal arrangement of laser displacement sensor is attached below. Please help me with trasmitting and receiving portion.

While I am not familiar with the Zigbee, I can assume it can transmit digital data while your laser sensor has only an analog output.
It has ,however, one "alarm" bit which can possibly be transmitted through Zigbee.
I think you should either find a laser sensor with a digital output, or, you will have to first connect and ADC, the analog-to-digital converter to digitalize the analog voltage output from the sensor.
ADCs are possibly easiest to get as Arduino modules, available for amateur designers (google where available).

Thank you for your reply. The Zigbee already has ADC. I've got two zigbee boards, one consists of a USB line and the other RS 232. The RS 232 board has inbuilt ADC, so I think it should be used as a transmitter but I am not sure. So if anyone have experience using Zigbee XB24, plz help...
