how to draw sketch of spectrum of x(t)

If x(t) =cos(1000*pi*t) how can i sketch its spectrum??? kindly tell me by matlab

What is minimum sampling rate that can be used to sample the signal without aliasing
What i think we can write it cos(2*pi*f*t)
so cos(2*pi*500*t)
so minimum freq should be 500*2 =1000 Hz (as per nyquist)
Am i right in doing so

1000Hz is your limit. You should sample at >1000 Hz. If you sample at EXACTLY 1000, you'll get into trouble (for example, you could just be sampling at the zero crossings!). By the way, here's a sketch of your (ideal) spectrum:
