User owner1 presents a project of his own controller for almost every Webasto.

The controller is based on the AtmelMega 32 microcontroller.
Its task is to control this whole thing, more precisely to read data from two sensors: water temperature (Tw) and fumes temperature, to control the glowplug, air inflow motor, fuel pump, water pump and ventilator in the car.

The program was written in Bascom.

Assumptions were simple:
1. there has to be an influence on water temperature.
2. controller is supposed to be compatible with most mass-produced 12V Webasto
3. simple assembly.
4. possibility to be controlled with a remote control
5. built-in clock

The controller has a flame control procedure implemented in the program, in the case of a spontaneous flame extinguishing, it switches into the mode cooling and ventilating the chamber and attempts to kindle a flame.

Due to the fact that the engine and plug have 8V power supply voltage, the supplying problem had to be solved.
Because there is 12V wiring voltage at disposal, it had to be figure out how to decrease this voltage. It was handled with PWM.
The plug and engine are supplied with separate PWM signals.

The program cannot be made available yet because it is still under tests and modifications.
If the tests will turn out well, it will be assembled in the car in order to carry out further trials.
