hi!!

i´m planning to design and build a patch array antenna on FR4 for 5Ghz application (5 - 5.8Ghz), for a point to point link!
what i have done so far is to design 16 (4x4) patches antenna with the dimension L = lambda/(2*sqrt(epsilon_r)) .. that´s it!

first of all....i´m right about the dimension?
somebody could please provide some info how to design such antenna.
i dont have any simulator at the moment.

thank u!

To design a patch array antenna on FR4 at 5.8GHz, WITHOUT a simulator, you might need to have about 10 years experience designing phased-arrays antennas.

U may refer to IE3D antennas design handbook!
