Any suggestions for projects?

Hello guys,

We are a team of three people trying to spend the next 4 months doing a MEMs project. Due to our inexperience with the process of building and simulation, we are not able to gauge how much we can achieve in this duration, provided that we use COMSOL and put in maximum effort. We will not be fabricating anything, just simulation. Can anyone here with the experience with MEMs please tell us what we can expect in this time? Whole sensors? Analysis of components? Or may be micro scaling of analog components? Please help.

The project needs to be in the domain of electronics (acoustic MEMs/ RFMEMs/ OptoMEMs, etc.). We are not asking for a whole project or a problem statement, just an idea as to what can be achieved and on what lines can a project of this duration be. Hope to get help

Should your project be something novel ? or you can simulate some devices which are already designed (ex: RF switch or variable capacitor).

It need not be novel, but must have extended something already existing, or have redesigned/differently analysed it.
