Which simulation software is best for communication enginner

Hi i am student of Telecom Engineering at graduate level.I am interested in GSM Mobiles.
Can you tell me which software is best for simulation of mobile networks.
Someone told me Opnet but it is all related to computer networks. any other idea?
 

Maybe ADS or Matlab could offer some help.
 

Generally, MATLAB, It is very rich with its toolboxes.
 

Matlab is the best, your starting point is simulink the you can then start to write your codes.
