hi everyone.
sometimes i have problems to understund electronic shematics.
for exampl i have a tranformer with a midle in ground (2 equal and opposite voltage) to attac a rectifier to make alternative signal a continouce one the block of diod has 4 connector 2 connected to tranformer the other and each of them to tow filter.View attachment rectifier.bmp
my question is how could the signal be filtered by the tow filters
knowing that just the positive wave that may be rectified in other words one filter can function because attacted in the positive and negative wave directly the other filter is not i hope that someone can understund my question

Hi,
The schematic you attached is a FULL WAVE rectifier circuit. Here these 4 diodes rectify the GULL CYCLE of AC waveform to DC and you can connect the filter capacitor at the end. For learning more on this please visit:

If still you feel putting more questions you are very welcome.

Good Luck.

hi rasa
thancs replaying.
the problem tha i have is not how the ful rectifier works my problem is that some shematics can not be well understood and lesds u to imagine a way not nessecerly logique to understund
a shematic .
the shematique i have post is not the one i have problem with it is just to open my question.
the shematique i have is a full rectifier that have in its output tow filters that both of the conected to groud.
if i can folow the signal + and - side of the ac wave i can not understund how one of them can filter the signal because it is not attacted directly by the diods and may that the signal can attact it frm the ground hard to imagine that way because the signal the output of the rectifier must attac first the capacitor the resistor. as i told u i can understund how one filter can works because attacted directly by the diods.
but thoes diods canot offer a signal away to passe to the other filter forme there is just the ground that can offer this way and this is the problem.
thancs to understund me

Hi finefine,
Until I do not see the schematic you having trouble with, I can not explain it. Can you post the image here so I can see what problem is there to understand?

hi the shematic i have is on my book i can not post it now i have to scan it but i may search the similar in the web

ha raza.
i have paint the shematic my self .
so you can help.
can u pleas explain how the tow filter can work knowing that the diods can just offer the direct signal to the upper filter not to the below one .anyway i need to understund how the circuit works

Hi finefine,
This circuit is of a DUAL power supply, means in this circuit you have PLUS and MINUS both supplies reference to Ground which is the Center tap of the transformer, see the attached images, you will have some clarification:
Supply.jpg
Dual Supp.jpg

Here the first image is the single supply circuit and the second image is Dual supply circuit.
Your circuit is also of DUAL supply, the upper one is Positive and the Lower one is Negative but the capacitor is reversely connected.
Hope it clarifies.
