"I had an idea of device for measuring the temperature outsider the house and sending it to Web page. There are various thermometers however they are not precise enough. So I implement a microprocessor and my server.

List of elements:
- ATmega8 microprocesor;
- Max232 (for communication with the computer);
- Digital temperature sensors Dallas 18b20;
- LCD display 8*2
- Chinch connectors for the sensors;
- Cables, case, universal pcb, etc.

Device can measure temperature, store maximal and minimal daily values and send that information to the computer. As you can see device is rather small. A display is used to visualize values without the pc computer.
Device sends to the computer a set of values and time to reset the daily values.
PC computer runs a program to convert data to text, stores them to text file and to a gif file.
Two additional programs are included. One for a pc computer to display a temperature with 60 seconds interval without the need to opening an internet browser and second to display a temperature on PDA."
