Hi All,

When I started my PCB Design, I used a larger template (A1) to arrange components outside the board initially.
However now that all components are within the board, there is too much space outside.
I don't want to generate a large gerber file with just a small PCB board in the middle.

May I know if there is a way to either move the PCB to a smaller template (A3) or convert the current template size to a smaller one?

Note:- I tried select all, then cut and paste, but lots of info missing (such as layer setting, via nets, etc). Too much work to key in the info

Thanks,
Newbie101

Hi All,

Nevermind..found out how to do this.

a) Delete current template lines and text (mech layer 16)
b) Open A3 Template. Select All. Copy and paste to current sheet
c) Use "board options" to resize
d) Set suitable "origin"

Thanks All,
