micro controller project....

can u suggest me any project based on micro controller...?
i have some ideas about traffic control system....can u suggest me any idea about traffic sensor...?

You might want to do something related to real time systems.

I feel you do an intelligent ambulance along with intelligent traffic control systems, where you will keep green light for more duration and less time if the traffic is less.... and make all the signals red if an ambulance comes in any directions and make only green light for the ambulance and vehicles to pass....

if i m right,u want to know me that....in any emergency condition...we have to GLOW red to STOP all vehicles...& only
ambulance can pass....GREEN for ordinary vehicles....but...u know that there is no rules for AMBULANCE to cross the road....if
ambulance is behind of all traffic and RED light GLOW...that all traffic must have to be cleared to pass the ambulance....I THINK WE HAVE TO THINK BETTER....!...thank u sir.....u r very helpful to me ......

i had already done this prototype and it is being tested in few cities...

In normal operation the red and green light will work depending on the density of the traffic that means..
1. More traffic keep green light for more time.
2. less traffic .. keep green light for less time so that others on the other side of signal need not wait for long time..

Now in real time traffic signal light will be of fixed time in all directions..

Enhancement... If an ambulance is detected then the direction in which ambulance is coming will automaticall turn green and make all other sides red .. so that all the traffic and ambulance can go through without stopping...
as soon as the ambulance crosses , the traffic light returns to normal mode...

Its is already existing in some countries, and in india it will come soon.,...
