Hi all,
I am working on a project of designing a PCB for GSM modem. while working on it, i go through datasheets, reference guides regarding GSM module PCB design. There i found a note on Antenna impedance matching circuit.
1) I want to know, is it necessary to match the impedance?
2) How to find the values of RC network, required to match the impedance.
3) I m using orcad for pcb designing, please let me know how to find trace impedance? The material we use for PCB is FR4.

Any help or documentation regarding it will be highly apprecaited.
Thanks.
