Hi,
I want to know wat is the hardware requirement for Java run time to work. Exampl of a calculator which has a small ciruit board and has a calculator app installed or burnt on to the hardware .. Please clarify the hardware requirement for the same.Java run time environment to be burnt on to a hardware to have java apps work on it, so for it wats the hardware requirement,
I mean burnt as in embedding to a hardware , not to work in PC...
A good example is calculator, the hardware looks very much like a circuit board but has the calc program embedded into the hardware , same way i wanted to know how to embedd java run time in a hardware similar to circuit board, wats the requirement of the hardware. Please share this question to ur friends . help me finding my answer.

Thanks & Regards
Manohar

8051 core platform doesn´t support Windows and Linux SO and even a high level language like JAVA.
