help needed to measure amps supplying into battery from battery charge cicuit

Dear all,

I have made Battery charge circuit for my 6v, 4.2 mAh lead acid battery. Battery is charging fine. But, I don't know how to measure the amps that is going into Battery from charger circuit. Pl help me.

Just connect the ameter serially to any lead of the battery ..
 
i can calculate volts easily. but, i cannot able to calculate amps going into battery.

Finally I can able to read amps. I forgot to select the 10A on multimeter. Now it is OK. Thanks Thanara.
