Controlling an electromotor via Java enabeld phone

So i have the following problem: I should get a phone to simply start and stop an electromotor... now my problem is i have no idea how to get an interface for connecting a mobile phone(possibly a Java enabled Android phone) to the motor... It's a working prototype for further development in Java programming language but we can't get past the tehnical issues wich i stated above. Does anyone have a solution with possibly some PCM-boards or schematics? Please help i kinda need this real quick...
