what does "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" error means in C?

i am writing a program for histogram equalization in image processing using C,after compiling i am getting this error.

Thanks a lot sir for your reply,actually i had my practical exam of dip on the next day i posted my doubt,so had no time to reply.my program i worked on another system,don't know how,but anyways,thanks !
