I am a student in University and now want to simulate a small solar cell generator in Pspice. There is a DC/DC boost converter TPS61220 in the circuit(to step up the solar cell voltage from 0.7V to 3.3V, then charge a battery).
I have asked the TI company if they have the spice model, but they don't have it.

I have tried a lot of ways to solve the problem, but no way works.

Is there anyone who can give me some suggestion?

Do you want the solar panel Spice model? If so, try this Intusoft Newsletter, Nov 2005

Thank you for your suggestion. I just found the way to simulate a solar panel. But I want to use a boost converter TPS61220 in circuit and simulate it with Pspice. However, there is no spice model of TPS61220. What should I do? Could you please give me some suggestion about this problem?

Try other equivalent PWM model. PSpice offers several PWM models.

hey.. kofy2K, can u please tell what is the way to simulate solar panel that you found out??
