is it possible to set the bottom layer as plane type in allegro 16.2

hi,
in the last few days, i draw a PCB of 4 layers using Cadence 16.2.
The first layer is named top, conductor type.
The forth layer is named bottom, plane type.
after generating artwork file, there are no pad in the bottom layer.

also, in setup-->cross-section, after changing the type of bottom layer to
plane, the subclass name "bottom" is missing.

i have a question: is it impossible to set the top or bottom layer as plane
type?

It is sure that the through pad is of no problem in pad designer.

the attached is the image of top and bottom artwork

Place the copper shape in the bottom layer.

Assign the ground net for the shape.

set the constraine value or spacing ground net to other net.

I don't know its work properly.

hi,

we can't assign bottom as plane layer.

if you want to flood copper on bottom you can put copper shape on bottom.

Yes we can't assign bottom as plane layer and also we can't view the thermal, but we can assign the copper shape shape for ground net.
