handphone handshake/interfacing protocol

Hi there,

I really need help from all of you. how to connect PC or Microcontroller to handphone (let say nokia or Motorola). What is the Pin configuration, Handshake Protocol and lastly how i want to instruct the handphone to send data (sms) or to retrieve message from the phone or direct dialling to any number from my PC or Microcontroller.
