Hello,

I am using the Yokogawa DL9140L DSO oscilloscope.

I am trying to do “Sample and hold” whereby I would set a trigger level, then when the waveform breaches that trigger level, it records the following X microseconds of the waveform and displays it on the screen .

However, I cannot get it to do it.

The User Manual is here, but I cannot sort out how to do it.

You need to set the trigger level as "normal" not "auto" otherwise it will trigger after a certain amount of time waiting for a trigger. See page 2.13. If you want to guarantee it won't re-trigger, select "single mode". Then you will have to manually re-arm after each trigger.

Keith.
