[SOLVED] microcontroller output problem

hi frnds.... i am using p1.0 of at89s52 as an input port and p2.0 as an output port ....but when hardware is connected the controller should not work means output was not correct..after resetting it 5 to 8 times it works properly. But when supply is removed and then connected the same problem occurred ....plz tell me the solution of this problem
 

Your outputs are open collector/drain I think so you need to use pull up resistor for the output, did you?
You also have to provide some king of schematic and even the code.

I don't think it can be a open drain problem... Because PORT0 only is open drain in 8051 series... If we see the schematic and code then only we could able to find the exact problem... I think Port1 and Port2 has internal pull ups...
