Issue with my new digital clamp multimeter
I've just bought a digital clamp multimeter having the AC current rating of 600A (20A, 200A, 600A).
While testing at home I found that it is not showing current at the wire of refrigerator, Electric iron, PC. The electric iron's wattage rating is 1000w. When measuring at the main circuit breaker it shows 2.30A. Probably this meter can't show low current. But in the specification it told at range 20 it can measure having resolution of 10mA. So, setting at range 20A I should get 10mA, 20mA, 50mA etc.
Could any experienced brother help me by explaining this matter? Is my meter faulty or generally Clamp meter can't measure low Ampere rating!
