Only way I can think of is:-
Add a buffer to delay the clock by 1/4th of cycle then XOR the input and output of buffer.
 

if you have a function generator then drive this component in series with a resistor with a sin wave. Change the frequencyo of Sin wave, if peak votlage across resistor is changing with frequency then this componet is defintly not an resistor.
